We invite you to become an Alliance Partner in order to support China's efforts to improve energy efficiency and thereby reduce pressure to buld more power plants. This will decrease the output of greenhouse gasses and other pollutants.
In addition to stemming the growth in traditional sources of power (e.g., coal-fired plants and large-scale dams), improved energy efficiency in China will have a number of important benefits. For example:

Creating a market for efficient technologies and products (e.g., motors, appliances, and air conditioners) in China, making these technologies and products more cost-effective world-wide |

Eliminating significant amounts of greenhouse gas emissions. Improved energy efficiency in China has been identified as the top global opportunity to curb energy growth and, in the process, cut CO2 emissions |
